Julian Gillilan, graduate student in the Department of History, has received a Fulbright-Mach Award for the 2026-2027 academic year. He will conduct dissertation research at various archives in Vienna as an affiliate of Central European University. The award is funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research.
Gillilan's research interests include 19th and 20th Central European history and Austrian Studies and is advised by Gerald Steinacher.
