We will be offering an award for the best undergraduate paper written by a History major or minor.
Each year the Department of History selects one or more students for the Glenn Gray Outstanding History Major. Normally the recipients are seniors who have or are completing their capstone. Often the winner(s) is a graduating senior, but not always.

The application for the Best Undergraduate Paper Award consists of:

  • This application form.
  • A 10+ page paper that reflects the best practices of a professional historian, including a strong historical argument and analysis and meticulous documentation. Note: If you are applying for both the Glenn Gray and Best Undergraduate Paper awards, you may use the same writing sample for both.

One file only.
20 MB limit.
Allowed types: txt, rtf, pdf, doc, docx.
