BIO
Timothy Turnquist is a Ph.D. candidate in the History Department of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. His research interests include Holocaust studies, transatlantic antisemitism, Christian-Jewish relations, (im)migration, as well as Orientalism and scholarly/popular perceptions of “Semites” and “Aryans” in history and society.
His dissertation investigates the relationship between American antisemitism in the 1930s, immigration, and the Catholic Church.
