Fredrik Gregorius, a professor and Fulbright Scholar from Linköping University in Sweden, will give the talk "Uses, Misuses, & Abuses of Viking Spirituality" on April 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Love Library South, Room 102. The event is free and open to the public.
Gregorius is a specialist in Norse Religion/Spirituality and has conducted and published research on Evangelical Christianity, Esotericism, Satanism, Afrocentricity, Santa Muerte and African diaspora religions.
The event is organized by the Indigenous Studies program within the Institute for Ethnic Studies and cosponsored by the Department of History; the Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Classics and Religious Studies, and Global Studies programs; the Black Cat House, and Skala Earth Works LLC.
