There are numerous opportunities on campus for students to get involved.
History Club
History Club is a campus RSO designed for undergraduate history students and history lovers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Club meetings consist of guest speakers, professional and academic development opportunities, and history trivia nights. Most of all, this club is designed to build a community of peers within the History Department and expand that community by introducing a network of professional and academic opportunities. Any undergraduate students are encouraged to join! Interested students can follow our Instagram (@unlhistoryclub) to keep updated on club activities or visit History Club’s NvolveU page to join. Please reach out to historyclub@unl.edu with any questions!
History Graduate Students’ Association
The History Graduate Students’ Association (HGSA) aims to build and maintain a collegial graduate student community and represent the interests of this community to University faculty, staff, and administration. Every History graduate student is welcome to be a HGSA member, participate in our formal and informal meetings, attend professional development workshops, run for our leadership positions, and help organize the annual James A. Rawley Graduate Conference in the Humanities.
