Angela Wilson Pennisi ('94, history) received a Robert G Dicus Award from the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice. The award recognizes those who have made valuable contributions to physical therapist-owned businesses, their community, and the APTA section.
Dr. Pennisi, PT, DPT, MS, is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in orthopedic physical therapy who is president and director of PhysioPartners, which she founded in 2000. She serves the American Physical Therapy Association as a member of the Finance Committee and represents APTA to a committee of the American Medical Association. Pennisi has also served as an expert consultant in physical therapy-related litigation.
