BIO
Sean Scanlon is a PhD candidate at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and an advisee of Professor Thomas Borstelmann. He received his BA from Stonehill College, where he was a double-major in History and Religious Studies. Sean’s teaching interests include modern U.S. history, U.S. foreign relations, religion in American history, post-World War II conservatism in the United States, the Cold War, and the history of the Middle East. His dissertation analyzes the development of U.S.-Israeli relations during the 1970s and 1980s.
