Holly joined the Master's Program at UNL after receiving her Bachelor's Degree in History at the University of Wisconsin in Superior.

Her primary area of historical concentration is Early Modern England, with a special interest in women's studies and feminist reinterpretations. Holly's current research focuses on rehabilitating the tarnished public memory of Katherine Howard, the ill-fated fifth wife of King Henry VIII.
