I am an American social, cultural, and intellectual historian interested in higher education and campus life with an emphasis on college social fraternities, gender, and the social history of ideas. My past research has dealt with racial discrimination in fraternities, changing perceptions of race in campus discourse, and integration in the Post-World War Two era. Tentatively, my thesis will examine gender relations on campus and constructions of gender through physical space.
I serve as the Department's Teaching with Technology Assistant, helping faculty better integrate technology into their course modules to enhance the learning experience, providing in-house technical support for queries relating to Blackboard and other learning technologies, and lecturing on digital databases and resources for students and faculty.
