Catherine Medici-Thiemann is a PhD student pursing a degree in Pre-Modern European history, with an emphasis in early modern British history and women's and gender history. She is also working towards a specialization in Women's and Gender Studies. Catherine's research focuses on the ways women gained and expressed political power in Elizabethan England.
