Although my passion is Ancient Greek history, my legal education has persuaded me to study the History of Museums and the legal controversies that surround the acquisition and maintenance of the artifacts within them.

Education:

I attended Truman State University, where I ran Womens Varsity Track and majored in History. In August 2006 I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in History. In May 2008, I finished my first year of law school here at UNL. Because I decided to pursue a dual matriculation, I will graduate in May 2011 with a JD (law degree) and MA in History.

Presented research paper “To Our Sweethearts and Wives: May They Never Meet” at the Classical Association of Canada Annual Meeting in Montreal, Canada on May 12-14, 2008

Contributed to the research of Dr. Lynn Rose in “Mythologies: Spartan Traditions in Imperial Rome” which was presented at the Association of Ancient Historians held in Columbia, Missouri on May 6, 2005
